This Glashutter Prazisions Uhren Fabrik AKT-Ges Glashutte solid 14K gold Hunter pocket watch is in very good condition. It is quite rare today, after more than 100 years and two world wars, to find a well-preserved gold pocket watch from the Glashütte Precision Watch Factory Akt. Ges. This antique/vintage pocket watch is a true luxury item for men. It comes without papers or original packaging. This pocket watch is perfect for collectors or anyone who appreciates the beauty and functionality of antique timepieces. It opens and closes properly. Inside, the hand-winding movement is running strong, although its service history is unknown. The case is not monogrammed inside or outside. This item is pre-owned and has a few minor dings. 

Based on my web search The Glashütter Präzisions-Uhren-Fabrik Akt.-Ges. was founded in 1904 and produced high-quality watches until 1914 (or 1918).  It was known for its precise pocket watches, including red gold models from 1905. The factory played an important role in the Glashütte watch industry before the First World War. Today, their historic watches are highly sought after by collectors, often found as valuable collector’s items at auctions.

Around 5,000 pocket watches were produced until production ended in 1914. The watch presented here, with the serial number 101407, Triple signed and matching serial numbers on case and movement. Porcelain dial with no chips or hairlines. Fully Hallmarked case, gold filled bow appears original . Opens Closes properly. Inside, the hand winding movement is running strong, although its service history is unknown. Case is not monogram on the inside or out.  This item is pre owned. The case has few minor dings.  Most likely will need a service as it has been sitting for a number of years in our Store Owner Collector's Inventory!
